How it is built

• A major scale with a raised 4th: E♯ instead of E. Seven notes.
• E♯ floats instead of pulling toward F♯ the way a normal 4th would. That one note is the dreamy, film-score sound; hold it over a B chord and let it hang.
• Same notes as G♭ major, started from its fourth degree.
