B minor pentatonic scale

How it is built

• Five notes: the minor scale without its 2nd and 6th. No half steps, so every note works over Bm, and most work over a blues in B.
• D is the flat third and A the flat seventh. Those two notes are the minor sound; bend A up to B to resolve a phrase.
• Same notes as D major pentatonic, three frets higher.
