How it is built

• A major scale with a raised 4th: E instead of E♭. Seven notes.
• E floats instead of pulling toward F the way a normal 4th would. That one note is the dreamy, film-score sound; hold it over a B♭ chord and let it hang.
• Same notes as F major, started from its fourth degree.
