C blues scale

How it is built

• The minor pentatonic plus one note: G♭, the flat fifth. Six notes.
• G♭ is the blue note. It is a passing tone, not a resting place: slide through it between F and G.
• Works over every chord of a 12-bar blues in C, major or minor.
