How it is built
- Five notes: the minor scale without its 2nd and 6th. No half steps, so every note works over Cm, and most work over a blues in C.
- E♭ is the flat third and B♭ the flat seventh. Those two notes are the minor sound; bend B♭ up to C to resolve a phrase.
- Same notes as E♭ major pentatonic, three frets higher.
